For over 25 years, Christian Family Worship Center has been a beacon of faith, family, and community in Columbia, Mississippi. Known for its amazing worship experiences, thriving youth department, and family-oriented congregation, we have remained steadfast in our mission to transform lives from the inside out.

Under the leadership of Pastor Montgomery and his wife, Co-Pastor Nawasa Montgomery, our church has grown from humble beginnings into a place of worship that embodies warmth, love, and spiritual growth. A pivotal moment in the church’s story came when Pastor Montgomery made the bold decision to purchase a house and land on the corner of Broad Street and Sumrall Road, right in the heart of Columbia. What once was a house is now a sacred space where lives are changed, and the presence of God is felt. Through the years, our congregation has remained tightly knit, faithfully following the ministry across different locations before settling into our current home—a place that welcomes all and encourages the freedom to praise and worship.

Rooted in Romans 12:1-2, we believe in the transformative power of a renewed mind and a life surrendered to Christ. As we walk in the kingdom of God, we embrace The Great Commission—to share the gospel, make disciples, and be a light to the world. Our purpose is to guide the lost, empower the faithful, and elevate the Savior through worship, praise, prayer, and fellowship, all while spreading the message of Christ’s love and salvation.
With a heart for families, we are committed to breaking the chains of poverty, fostering homeownership and entrepreneurship, and cultivating spiritual leadership within families, communities, and the Kingdom of God. As we continue to grow and serve, we look ahead with great expectation, knowing that God is not finished with us yet.
